"I didn't realize the importance of color
in a room and how it affects one's mood. My small condo has been
transformed into a warm and cozy home. I did not have the expertise and
trusted Cindy's judgment which exceeded my expectations". - S.Flynn, New
York
It
seems like ages ago since you helped us choose colors for our home. Since
then, the furniture has arrived and the electricians have put in lighting.
And now the painters are here. The first day we came home to quite a sight,
as almost all of the wallpaper had been taken down. But by the end of day
2, our music room had it first coats of Benjamin Moore Stuart Gold. Rob had
been uncertain about the choice of yellow because he thought it would be
boring. Now that it's up, not a day has gone by when he hasn't commented on
how great it looks.
In
the main entry we had chosen the Benjamin Moore Greenmount Silk for the
walls. You were right. That color really goes well between the Stuart Gold
of the music room and the Benjamin Moore Sherwood Green for the dining
room, reflecting both colors while providing a neutral rest for the eyes.
Speaking
of the dining room, it looks better than I had imagined! We have a black
dining room set. Against the Sherwood Green, it looks like something right
out of a history book.
The
Great Room is still in progress and when we left this morning, only the
first cut ins had been done. The Benjamin Moore Concord Ivory you had
chosen for that room provides the continuity from the music room's Stuart
Gold that we were looking for, but as you said, it is more muted and
well-suited for the large space. It works very well against all the wood in
the room.

I was like a deer caught in the headlights
when my painter told me to pick out the colors I wanted. I had had my fill
of Home Depot white walls, but I had no idea how to choose colors that
would be appropriate for my home and with each other.

Cindy was a godsend. I had a few colors in
mind and when I described them to her, she knew right where they were in
the fan deck. She was also able to recommend colors that blended nicely
with the colors I knew I wanted. She recommend a couple of different shades
of some color families and I purchased quarts of paint and painted swatches
on the walls. Once I did that, it became obvious which ones were right.

It took a little getting used to, going from white everywhere to no white.
After the initial shock wore off, we absolutely love it.

I used Cindy for help in picking colors for
our new house. She gave me a list of recommendations, and was very focused
on how the colors would flow from one area to the next. Overall, in
selecting the colors that she thought would work for me, she took into
account aspects such as my preferences, the furniture that would be in the
room, and what would work for the type of house we have.
We get a lot of compliments.
-Gail S., Newtonville, MA
Cindy was able to transform an otherwise
drab room into a warm and inviting living space .
Living in the city, my condo is very small and I was "stuck" with the idea
that a strong color was going to make it look smaller. Cindy's enthusiasm,
knowledge and passion for colors convinced me to go with her suggestion of
painting one wall an Indigo Blue to offset a piece of artwork in the room.
The results were amazing! The new color made the room look more expansive
and welcoming. Cindy's ability to pick the perfect color for any room is a
gift and one that will transform your living situation. It sure did for
mine! - Mairead F., Charlestown, MA

A few months back, my company was
relocating and I was assigned a drab, narrow office that formerly served as
an electrical closet and training room. Once I got over the shock, I asked
Cindy for help. She recommended that I add a cobalt blue accent wall facing
my desk. She also helped me figure out where to put my plants and other
accessories. It was the perfect remedy. My magnificent blue wall is easy on
the eyes and energizing. And my new digs are the envy of every manager in
the building.
California Paint's Codman Claret is
the bar area accent color. It's really striking, and I think the
Torani syrups are going to look beautiful lined up against it. I also
loved the California Paint's Red Rock Canyon you suggested, and I
decided to use it in the half bath.
