Ragging (also called rag rolling) is a great way to add texture to a plain wall and there are many ways to approach it.  You can "rag on" or "rag off."  Here is the easiest way to do it. Wait 24 hours for your base coat to dry, then, dip a damp cotton rag into colorful glaze, shape it and press it to the wall over and over. Have lots of rags ready (you can buy them by the box) and add more glaze as needed. Move your hand and wrist around to avoid creating repeating patterns on the wall. In this case, random is most attractive.
This technique is easy and looks so gorgeous on the wall that you may find yourself thinking about adding a second color of glaze.
